The idea behind this is great, BUT there are resources missing. It has several stories to do the card sort with but the stories are not on the digital version or the print version. There is only ONE story- Christopher Keeps Trying. It also has plot diagrams for Cinderella and Snow White, but no stories??
Reply from Activated Education
Hi there, the story Christopher Keeps Trying is included because it is an original story. Fairy tales are easily accessible online in many formats so you can choose the version that works best for your students (reading level, length, etc).

Buy, buy this product. Do not think twice about it! I used this with my 6th graders, and it was so much fun. I lamintated the cards and cut them all out before we did the sort. (Get plastic baggies!) The one thing that I did change was the visual for "plot" because it's the same visual for both categories and that confused the kids. (I downloaded a picture of roller-coaster tracks which are in the same shape as the literary pyramid.) Other than that, I will be doing this activity for a long time! Thank you so much.
