Description

Help Supermec’s family find their new home! This French digital escape game gives French 1 students a purpose for practicing house vocabulary, furniture, places in town, and directions through interactive reading and listening challenges.

In La Maison de Supermec, students follow a superhero family’s search for the perfect house. They listen to the family’s wish list, evaluate property descriptions, explore a French house through a realtor’s video, and complete challenges that lead them to their new home.

During the game, students will:

  • Listen to Supernana describe her ideal home and sort the family’s requirements.

  • Read five property descriptions, decide whether each home meets the family’s needs, and identify reasons for their choices.

  • Watch an authentic French real estate video and answer multiple-choice comprehension questions.

  • Listen to three descriptions of daily errands and put the destinations in order.

  • Drag furniture into the correct rooms on a floor plan.

  • Follow written directions on a neighborhood map to locate the new house.

  • Enter a final lockbox code, with an additional listening clue to help locate the spare key if needed.
