Practice reading numbers in French with this pictures tile game that can be played as a Google slides activity or in PowerPoint. Match the images to the numbers to make a picture with a yummy breakfast theme. The first slides are pretty easy - numbers 0-20, 0-40, 10-70 and 60-99, but the later ones go up into the millions! Easy to grade at a glance - either the student has it correct, or the picture will be messed up

I have students of all different levels and, with COVID, have had some students start in the spring who have never studied French before. With all this upheaval, I especially appreciate activities like this that students who have more limited vocabulary can use to "catch up" and students with a wider vocabulary focus on speed or solving the visual puzzle. These are great, engaging, promote learning, and are easily adapted for a differentiated learning environment. Also, they don't require a lot of photocopying and can be accomplished in-person or remotely depending on what is going on with quarantine at any given moment.
