This was a fun activity for students to review, but not having accents made it a bit difficult.

I used this with my grade 10 Core French class by splitting them up into groups of 2-3 and giving them 45 minutes to complete it - only one group finished in that time frame! As a class, we unlocked one of the locks together because they were struggling to figure it out on their own (the lock where they had to decide whether the verb needs to be conjugated in le passé composé or l'imparfait). We also went through each activity together as a class after I gave them a period to complete it. The only reason why I rated this a 4 star is because on the day that I did this with my students, the Google Form for the lock where students had to listen to an audio and answer questions wasn't loading or working, but then it was working the next day.

Great resource for sub plans, testing days or days when students need something a little different. As a previous reviewer said, it forces students to slow down and pay attention to what they are typing in.

The students loved the idea of this game! They found it difficult to understand that the code didn't appear if they had made a mistake in the work. Great tool to get them accustomed to reviewing their work and solving problems. I thought it was very fun and interesting. Bravo!

This is an excellent resource. We were able to use in in my French Immersion 10 class, BUT there were some technical difficulties accessing all of the files on our school network. Luckily, I was able to quickly adapt it and use our own servers for it.
