$8.97
Make high school science review more engaging with this health science escape room about COVID-19, SARS-CoV-2, disease transmission, exponential growth, and public-health decision-making. Students work independently or in teams to read scientific information, analyze clues, watch videos, and solve digital locks. A teacher guide, answer key, differentiation options, and built-in timed hints are included.
Students investigate:
- SARS-CoV-2 and COVID-19
- Characteristics of human coronaviruses
- How infectious diseases are identified and studied
- Exponential growth and disease spread
- Hygiene and respiratory-virus prevention
- Vaccine development and evidence-based treatment
- Lessons from the 1918 influenza pandemic
- How scientific understanding changes with new evidence
How it works:
Students use an internet-connected device to open the website-based game, examine readings and videos, and enter a code for each challenge. Hints appear after five, ten, and twelve minutes, supporting students without immediately revealing answers. Use the activity for high school biology, health science, public health, infectious-disease units, epidemiology introductions, review, enrichment, collaborative problem-solving, or sub plans.
Included:
- Access to the digital escape game through Genially
- Complete teacher guide
- Answer key
- Built-in student hints
- Options for shortening or differentiating the game
