I have used this lecture many years during discussions about ordering food and fast food in France. It is a good beginning before adding updated videos and menus. Isn't it hilarious that American fast food restaurants in France always have donuts on the dessert menu?

This was one of the few resources I found to help me with my ESL students. Our district has limited resources and this was very helpful. Thank you

My students really enjoyed this reading because they can relate to the company and what is offered. This is a fantastic resource for when we compare similarities and differences between businesses in the target culture and here in the United States.

The students really enjoyed learning about McDonald's in French. The reading level was instructional for my group and we had some good conversations about some new vocabulary.

The reading is interesting and engaging, but I wish there were more questions accompanying the text (there are only 5). I had to add more to make this activity more substantive. Also, the answer to #5 is ambiguous as the text indicates several things that Americans might prefer at a French McDonald's.

These activities make lesson planning so easy and allow me to be more present with my students as a facilitator for their learning rather than worrying about developing my own materials. It saves me so much time.

Interesting but a bit difficult for the beginners so I have passed it on to the upper level teachers.
