Embark on a unique cross-grade collaboration with our creative animal narrative writing project! In this project, students pair up with a partner from another grade level to develop their own animal character and craft short narrative stories. The younger students will have the opportunity to choose an animal to color, give it a name, and outline its likes, dislikes, wants, and a problem it faces. The older students will then use this character profile to write a compelling short story.

With two versions of character pages to accommodate different grade levels and abilities, as well as five printable writing pages, this project offers flexibility and creativity for all participants. Gather at the end of the project to share and celebrate the imaginative stories that have been created!
