This appositives resource bundle includes the digital version and the hands-on printable version of 10 different cloze reading passages with 9 appositive phrases per passage. The passages are the same in both resources, which allows teachers to differentiate for students. In the hands-on version, students physically move the appositive phrases into the correct blank spaces in the passage. In the Google Docs digital version, students select the correct phrases from a drop-down box. Answer keys are included for both versions.

In the hands-on printable version, students cut the appositive phrases from the bottom of the page and cut apart. Students then glue each phrase into its appropriate sentence. OR print and laminate your passages so you can use your activities again and again.

In the digital version, each of the 10 passages is contained in its own Google Doc, which makes assigning passages to student via Google Classroom or other platform easy. Once the activity is open, students simply click on the drop down boxes to select the correct appositive based on the context of the sentence. Students can keep track of which phrases they have used by utilizing the checklist in the Word Bank. PDF answer key is included.
