Fix sentence run-ons in this interactive fun grammar SCOOT game or activity for grades 4-7. Students move through 20 different task cards to identify and fix the run on sentence by either forming compound or complex sentence, or separate into smaller simple complete sentences. Ideal for elementary and middle school ELA teachers who want a collaborative activity to teach writing and grammar rules. Ideal for whole class instruction, small group instruction, collaborative partner game, centers activity, or independent grammar practice or review.
This teaching resource comes with 20 run-on or sentence task cards (4 task cards on a page), task card posters, and a Google Slideshow for direct instruction. The task cards and posters come in both B&W and color. Plus, the slideshow also includes an editable blank task card page (1 for color and 1 for b&w) and a blank task card poster to create your own tasks. This resource also includes student response worksheets, answer key.
Written with accessibility in mind! The student task card text font is Open Dyslexic to support all readers.
