(2 ratings)$15.00 $12.00
Get BundleTurn your students into grammar gurus with this grammar note taking bundle. You'll get 3 different grammar note taking booklets that cover parts of speech, comma rules, and sentence structures. Each booklet covers 9 terms and concepts and can be used as a printable or digital handbook, standalone worksheets, or note-taking graphic organizers for both initial instruction and review or test-prep.
The Parts of Speech guided note-taking booklet covers nouns, pronouns, common versus proper nouns, possessive nouns, adjectives, verbs, adverbs, conjunctions, and prepositions.
The Sentence Structures & Terms guided note-taking grammar booklet covers terms and concepts like subject, predicate, complete sentences, sentence fragments, independent clauses, compound sentence, dependent clauses with subordinating conjunctions, complex sentences, and run-on sentences.
The Comma Rules guided note-taking grammar booklet covers commas in dates & addresses, commas in a series (list), introductory element comma, direct address, tag questions, appositives, compound and complex sentences and punctuating dialogue.
Printable Booklet Pages
When printed double sided and folded, it creates a book that students can hang onto all year long (hopefully!). Or simply use the pages as worksheets. The pages are open ended enough to allow for teacher customization. Each term or sentence structure gets its own page, with the left-hand side of each page dedicated to direct instruction and notes. The right side of the page can be used for more detailed notes, writing practice, or to identify these concepts in any mentor text the kids might be reading. You'll also get the Space Saver version (skills only, no mentor text pages) as well as the Full Size Version (1 skill per page)
Digital Slides
Use the TEACHER SLIDESHOW to introduce each sentence structure term and model the note-taking process. Use the STUDENT SLIDES for any student who needs to type responses or utilize speech to text features to take notes. OR type in your own notes and print it out for any student who needs notes prepared for them.
