✏️Students can choose from 25 symbols, called pictographs, to create their personalized buffalo hide art project.
✏️Students can use the symbols to tell stories (real or fictional), create scenes, or simply choose ones that represent their qualities or the traits of family members.
✏️Crafts are differentiated! Students can color, draw, or decorate their craft, choose from a variety of writing prompts, and writing sheet options (dotted vs. single lines etc.)

My class absolutely loved this project. We added it to our story that talks about different Native American tribes. They really enjoyed seeing what the different symbols meant then writing about which symbols they chose to use. Thanks!
