This resource can be easily assigned in Google Classroom for math stations, independent practice or distance learning. This activity is perfect for 2nd grade students learning subtraction with regrouping or for 3rd grade students who need a refresher before moving on to larger numbers.
Students will understand the meaning of Subtraction with Regrouping by using Base-10 blocks, and make connections to the traditional method for subtracting.
You do not need Google Classroom to use this resource, but you do need a Google e-mail to use Google Slides.

These two resources work together well to build a strong foundation and conceptual understanding, which especially helps struggling learners who need repetition while learning subtraction with regrouping.

Meet the Seller
In addition to my work in education, I also run a STEM-based Christmas Light Show business. When I'm not creating new math resources or working with teachers, I'm designing and fabricating light shows sequenced to music with my husband and our team. That business came about after our family was featured on ABC's The Great Christmas Light Fight. My son attends the University of Texas, Austin and I'm currently soaking up every last minute with my daughter, a high school senior.
