My school is big on teaching to the test but the kids get bored with so much paper so I wanted to include academic games but that were STAAR based. These are perfect. The expanded notation is a bit confusing at first but we made it work.

I used these with my 4th and 5th special education resource students. They were a blast during STAAR prep! Some of the skills were still a little tough for my 4th graders, but the 3rd grade set of these games helped to supplement the 4th grade skills they struggled with. My 5th graders loved them!
