This Word Problem Kit includes 22 fill-in-the-blank Addition & Subtraction Word Problems that can be personalized! Every problem can be used with any size/type of number. The included bookmark number guides give suggestions for using the word problems with numbers 0-10, 0-20, 0-50, 0-100, 0-1,000, decimals and fractions. This is a fun way to create a Problem of the Day that uses exactly the type of number you are working with in your current unit of study. I used this resource for my students during enrichment. They created word problems and we even used their word problems as examples for us to solve.

This was a great resource to break down the makings of a word problem. Students being able to create and solve their own problems is a building block for their next grade! It helps their metacognitive processes, instead of just using numbers to guess.

A bit wacky to get started but uses just the right verbiage for those painful word problems that are hard to get the grasp of at first. With this, I can have "the same problem" type for daily exposure and practice!
