There are 45 elasped time word problems in this resource, with a variety of problem types:
All of the elapsed time word problems are to the nearest 5 minutes.
This resource is also intentional about the times on the clock. Students routinely name the incorrect hour when the minute hand is pointing to 50 or 55 minutes. There is lots of practice with these tricky times included in the elapsed time word problems.
I have used this resource many times and have perfected it over time. I have found using an elapsed time number line to be the most effective resource for teaching this difficult skill.

The number line is excellent for teaching elapsed time. I found the first exercises to be a perfect level for my students. The later ones became frustrating for them, even when we worked through them together.
