This chart has been such a helpful visual for my students! It makes expanded notation and place value relationships so much clearer, and I love how easy it is to reference during lessons and small group practice. It’s a great anchor tool for students to keep coming back to when they need support. I printed this on sticker paper, then laminated back to back, cut open the laminating pouch and it’s an instant sticker that remains on the inside of their math journal and as a bonus, since it’s laminated, they can’t destroy it!

Excellent resource for place value work! I copied this on colored stock & my students taped the pages to form a mat for 1-1,000,000. We used bingo see through counting discs. Students were able to show and share their work. We tried several counters, but found that the see through discs allowed the user to understand their exact value. (Laminating or) Using page protectors allowed students to use dry erase markers to mark the place value in each column. Strongly recommend this practice resource!
