This is a no-prep resource to review figurative language and literary devices. Use it as...
Two options are available to support the needs of your class! Students will start in the top left corner and move through the maze, matching each definition with its term in order to move on. We recommend having students draw their lines with a highlighter, but a pencil works fine, too! There is no "end here" given to students in the original form of the maze. Instead, students must determine where the maze ends based on which square they are in when they run out of possible correct answers. This level of challenge makes the maze a bit more difficult and avoids "giving away" the final answer. However, we have included a version with an "end here" designation included, in case you would prefer that scaffolding for your students.
