Multiplying Polynomials Treasure Trap: A whole-class team game!

Looking for a fun activity to do with your math class that also involves teamwork and collaboration? This multiplying polynomials Treasure Trap game is a perfect whole class activity that balances group work, competition and problem solving all in one. Your Algebra students will work in groups to answer 12 equations with monomials, binomials and trinomials. Next, they bring their responses to the teacher and if correct, they can loot another teams treasure! The catch is that the point values of each piece of treasure isn’t revealed until the end of the game, so you really can’t tell who’s winning mid-game! Add a social skills learning component by using the bonus cards! Point values are editable so you can easily change the value of a treasure piece from class to class!
