This is the Vowel Sounds Card Game, and it's a great way to help your student improve their phonics skills while having fun. Using this printable card game, students will practice CVC and VC-E syllables by matching long and short vowel sounds in order to get rid of cards.
This game is a great way to increase phonemic awareness, word reading, and reading fluency using a multi-sensory approach. Plus, it's perfect for learning centers, Orton-Gillingham based programs, special education, tutoring, and homeschools. So why wait? Get the Vowel Sounds Card Game today and watch your student's reading skills improve in no time!
This game includes 72 cards with words containing both short and long vowel sounds, A sheet of blank cards is included to add additional words based on your students needs. A backside is included for making double-sided cards. These cards can be printed in color or in black and white. Playing cards can also double as flash cards and can be used with any of my Fast and Fabulous Flash Card Review Games. This game can be customized to your students' level by using just the short vowel word cards, just the V-C-e cards or by making additional cards with custom words.

Teacher reviews
“I hope you do something like this for math???? These games have made it so much more fun to learn phonics. 4th graders who are still learning phonics have it so hard because it is usually very grade-appropriate but not age-appropriate. The kids get frustrated when it is 'babyish'. This game was perfect.”
