Short e CVC Segmenting & Blending Task Cards is one of 16 task card games. This set is a two-in-one deal! You can simply use the segmenting and blending cards (dot cards) on their own so students can practice segmenting individual sounds then blending them together. You can also pair the segmenting and blending cards (dot cards) with the included word-building cards so students are also practicing letter/sound association and spelling simple CVC words.
Two sizes are available in this pack:
There are a total of 23 small task cards (4 cards per sheet) and 23 full-size pages. Each card displays a picture, three dots, that represent each sound in the CVC word, and an arrow under the three dots to remind students to blend the sounds they isolated to form the word. This set also includes all individual letters needed to build each word. I like to add in Math Links to give students more of a hands-on activity that also builds their fine motor skills.
Perfect for small group work, centers, morning tubs, or an early finisher activity.

“I love how it has the cards with dots underneath to align with the SoR”
