Description

Do you need a fresh and fun way for your students to practice letter identification and recognition? These September Sensory Bin Activities are perfect for young learners! Once these sensory bins are set up, they are little, to no, work for you. Just print the recording sheets, and let your Littles get to work in a unique way that will keep them engaged!

This September Sensory Bin pack includes Beginning Sound Hunt and Beginning Sound Search. There are two different types of recording sheets to give you choice and variety. Recording sheets can be printed double-sided to cover the entire alphabet!

Beginning Sound Hunt

  • 26 beginning sound cards (one picture for each letter of the alphabet)

Recording sheets for Beginning Sound Hunt:

  • Uppercase coloring recording sheet
  • Lowercase coloring recording sheet
  • Uppercase tracing recording sheet
  • Lowercase tracing recording sheet
  • Uppercase and lowercase coloring recording sheet
  • Uppercase and lowercase tracing recording sheet.

Beginning Sound Search

  • 26 beginning sound cards (one picture for each letter of the alphabet)

Recording sheets for Beginning Sound Search

  • Students will find the match for the number on the card they pull with the number on their recording sheets. They will then have to color in the circle of the letter for the beginning sound.

These activities are perfect for your sensory tables during a Daily 5 Word Work center or any type of literacy center for little learners, keeping learning hands-on and engaging! The Beginning Sound Search would also be perfect for a Write the Room activity! You can print out the recording sheets and have students use individually, or place them in a dry-erase pocket to use over and over again.
