Syllable Counting Cards is one of 16 task card games. This set will have students listening for one to five syllables in words.

Two sizes are available in this pack:

• Full-size pages if you do not have/use the Photo Keeper Boxes from Michaels/Amazon.
• Standard task card size that fits in Recollection Photo Keeper Boxes.

There are a total of 50 small task cards (4 cards per sheet) and 50 full-size pages. There are a total of 10 picture task cards per number of syllables, up to five syllables. The word that matches the picture is also included on each card. At the bottom of each card, there are 5 boxes/squares for students to fill in for each syllable they hear in the word. Students can use any small manipulative - linking cubes, unifix cubes, mini erasers, counting chips, or glass beads - anything they can use to slide an item for each syllable they hear in the word into the boxes.

This is a fun, hands-on, and simple way for students to practice listening for and counting syllables in words, as well as helps young learners develop one-to-one correspondence and fine motor skills!
