These Word Work Mats are PERFECT for practicing phonemic awareness and word building with your students during Guided Reading and/or Word Work activities. They are great to send home in take-home kits for your students to keep practicing at home during distance learning. It is also a super easy way to organize letter tiles.
This resource comes with two templates in color and the same two templates in black and white. One template includes all letters of the alphabet and four counters and the other template includes all letters of the alphabet and diagraphs ch, sh, th, and wh. There are two letter tiles for letters b, d, f, l, m, o, p, s, and t. All you have to do is print out the template you want and assemble, using file folders and velcro dots. Cookie sheets and magnetic trays could work, as well.
