Imaginative Narrative Fantasy Writing Fictional Organizer Story Writing Template
(3 ratings)$3.15
Add to cartHelp students plan and develop imaginative fictional stories with this fantasy-themed narrative writing organizer for 3rd-6th Grade. The scaffolded template gives students a clear structure for organising ideas, choosing plot directions, and building a complete fictional narrative.
A two-page story starter and continuation introduces the writing task, while three plot prompt choices for each section provide support without limiting students’ creativity. Hints and ideas throughout the template help students decide what to include as they plan and write their stories.
What's included:
· 1 story starter to launch the writing task
· Plot prompts to support story development
· Hints for planning key parts of a narrative
· A writing template to guide the writing process
· 10 writing pages for students to create their fantasy narrative
· 11 pages in total
This resource is useful for:
· Narrative writing activities in Grades 4–5
· Creative writing activities and imaginative writing prompts
· Independent writing lessons
· Guided practice with story structure and planning
· Printable or digital classroom use
The fantasy theme offers an engaging setting for practising story structure, while the guided prompts help students move from an initial idea to a more developed narrative. Use the pages as a structured writing activity, a story planning resource, or a supported finish-the-story writing task.
