Description

Looking for a fun way to review ecosystem roles, food chains, and organism interactions? This Ecosystem Roles Cipher Puzzle gives students a no-prep way to practice identifying how different organisms function in ecosystems such as forests, oceans, grasslands, deserts, and ponds.

Students read each clue, determine the correct ecological role, use the cipher key to find the matching number, and convert each number to a letter. Once all 20 questions are complete, students write the letters in order and add spaces to reveal the hidden message.
