Description

Engage your students with this NO PREP, interactive ecology cipher activity focused on invasive species, native species, food web disruption, competition, predators, prey, habitat loss, biodiversity, resource decrease, and ecosystem imbalance.

In this structured challenge, students solve clues by identifying the correct invasive species, food web, or ecosystem term. They then use the provided Invasive Species and Food Webs Cipher Key to find the matching number and convert that number into a letter using the number-to-letter chart. After answering all 20 questions, students “crack the code” and reveal a hidden message.
