Popsicle Stick Catapult STEM Engineering Challenge | Physics Activity

Share

Description

You will be creating a Popsicle stick catapult which will fire three different-sized projectiles. This freebie provides an overview of the lab/activity along with a marking rubric. Your students will be asked to create a lab report summarizing various findings such as the speed and acceleration of your projectile, etc. Lots of inquiry and collaboration. Suitable for many ages and fully customizable.

Depending on how much time are willing to give your students to design, build and test their catapults, this activity can take between 2-4 days to complete.

Enjoy, your kids will.
