Thank you for your interest in my Trigonometry TV Viewing Application Activity. It’s a great activity that really challenges even the most advanced students and provides real applicability to your trig unit. I know everything in this activity/assignment is applicable because I had to solve each of these problems when I was shopping for my newest television! In the past I have used this as a review/collaborative group activity or as a very challenging question on a test. It also works well as a math centre station. Depending on how you implement it and the strength of your students, the time-frame can range from 45 minutes to 2 hours.
