Elapsed Time Word Problems Solve & Draw Task Cards are an easy way to make elapsed time review work or practice more engaging. Perfect for an authentic, flexible back-to-school review activity. This includes 32 Task Cards that are intended to be a challenge or review activity. Four leveled sets of 8 task cards are included for easy differentiation. Each level includes calculating elapsed time, start times, and end times.

How Solve & Draw Task Cards Work:

Students read the elapsed time word problem, find the solution, and add to the drawing based on their answer. Each leveled set includes a drawing page and 8 task cards. You also receive a full color version of the drawing page – perfect for projecting onto an interactive whiteboard and having students take turns drawing on as you correct the work! Task cards are included in both color and an ink-saving black-and-white version. An answer sheet with workspace is provided and may be copied on to the back of the drawing or printed separately.

Set 1 (Star): Level 1

Times to the hour and half hour

Set 2 (Cat): Level 2

Times include to the hour, half hour, and fifteen minutes

Set 3 (Pandas): Level 3

Includes to the minute calculations

Set 4 (Alien): Level 4

Includes multi-step to the minute calculations
