Halloween Math: Addition Fact Solve and Draw No Prep Printables are an easy way to make review work or practice engaging near Halloween! Put a new spin on color-by-numbers, glyphs, and mystery picture drawings and channel your students' love for doodling and drawing. This resource may be used as a center activity, fun quiz, or sub day activity. Facts 0 – 12 are included How Solve & Draw Printables Work All you have to do is print the pages! Students solve the addition fact problems and add to the drawing based on their answers. They need to find the sum for the first drawing prompt. The second drawing prompt asks them to compare the sum to the sum of another addition problem (equal to, less than, more than). To keep students from guessing, each problem may have one correct drawing prompt or two! Each page has an average of 10 responses that require drawing. Drawing is no-prep because all you need to do is print the pages! Drawing can even be done with the student’s normal writing utensil (pen or pencil). You may choose to allow colored pencils, crayons, or markers but they are not required. This works well as a homework option for families who may not have those supplies to offer and is a great “print and go” resource for sub days. An optional challenge page is included that can be copied on the back of the worksheet – this gives students an extension opportunity by asking them to write an addition equation that fits one of the incorrect drawing prompts or to write a new equation and their own drawing prompts. This works well to extend thinking and for early finishers.
