Experience

At Annotated ELA, we specialize in secondary ELA materials designed to streamline instruction and inspire creativity. Our resources are perfect for teachers who want to save time, engage their students, and build confident writers and critical readers. Join us to simplify your teaching process and empower your students for success.

Over the past 20 years, I have had the privilege of teaching secondary ELA in diverse settings, including urban and rural schools. My experience includes serving as a department chair, site literacy leader, and reading interventionist, as well as developing writing curricula and district-wide pacing guides.

These roles have equipped me with a deep understanding of the challenges ELA teachers face, from juggling multiple preps to meeting the needs of diverse learners. When teachers have clear, practical resources, they can focus more on what matters—helping students grow as writers, readers, and thinkers. My goal is to provide you with resources that are purposeful, easy to implement, and designed to save you time while empowering your students to succeed. LTL-L6FVIFCO
