Hi all! I'm Cathy! A little about myself, I have twenty-nine years experience teaching Pre-K through Grade 8 in both public and parochial school districts located in urban communities. I am have previously taught music in a STEM school and used a lot of technology in my music class. In my positions, I have also taught math and ELL groups with a special emphasis on interdisciplinary studies and second language learners. I have an eclectic style of teaching and try to incorporate technology and interdisciplinary studies wherever possible. Since I teach in an urban community I make sure to differentiate for ESL/ELL students and those in poverty.

I have earned a Bachelor's degree in Music Education and both a Masters in Social Work and a Master's in Education, Curriculum and Instruction in an Urban Based Setting. I am certified to teach Music in Grades pre-K through twelve and ESL grades 1-6.
