Give students French BAGS adjectives practice with this no-prep, self-grading digital game. Review beauty, age, goodness, and size through questions about the rules, choosing a missing adjective, and selecting a correctly written sentence. Correct answers move students forward; incorrect answers send them back to repeat that section. Includes Google Drive and PowerPoint versions for individual assignments or whole-class practice on a smartboard.
Review BAGS adjective rules and usage
BAGS stands for beauty, age, goodness, and size. This activity focuses on the BAGS adjectives taught before the noun.
Students practice through three types of questions:
Use the game after introducing the topic or when students need additional French adjectives practice.
How the game works
Students select an answer and follow the game path.
Correct choices let them continue. An incorrect choice sends them back to repeat that section, giving them another opportunity to work through the questions.
The response-based progression shows students whether their choice was correct during play.
What’s included
Individual or whole-class review
Share the game as an individual assignment or work through it together on a smartboard.
For whole-class use, you can ask students to explain their choice before selecting an answer. This is a suggested teaching approach you can add to the activity.
Use this focused game to revisit BAGS adjectives before a quiz or as part of your French grammar review.

Absolutely wonderful activity for my Intermediate French students. We used it as part of the review for their mid-term exams, they enjoyed it amidst all of the traditional review. My thanks to this TPT seller and fellow teacher for an outstanding product and exceptional customer service. I am very happy with this purchase and will surely be visiting her shop again. Merci et bonne année!

I used this (as well as another product) to help my students review for a final assessment on adjectives. They liked that it was a lot different from the normal activities we do in class. It was a good refresher/reinforcer for them. I will use it again in the future. Merci.

We had to go into an emergency circuit-breaker online learning period, so my usual clownery and in-person strategies for teaching adjectives went out the window. This was a great alternative. My keener kids took to it very well, and my reluctant learners said they thought it was hilarious.
