Description
French Extra episodes 9-13 listening comprehension worksheets turn the French-language series into structured, usable class time. This activities bundle gives students vocabulary support, comprehension checks, and varied follow-up practice for each included episode—ideal for second-year French learners and teachers who want ready-to-use viewing guides.
This bundle supports episodes 9-13. The episodes can be used independently, but watching the series in order provides the strongest story context.
For each episode, materials include:
- Vocabulary list with English translations
- Vocabulary list with no translations - have students fill in while watching
- Comprehension questions in French
- Comprehension questions in English
- Flashcards for the vocabulary list
- A word spiral puzzle
- A crossword puzzle
- Fill in the blanks
- Scrambled sentences

The activities provide comprehension checks plus scaffolding for learners who need support with the dialogue. French and English question options allow teachers to adjust the level of challenge.
Students need access to the French version of the episode; video access is not included. For lower-level learners, a version with French subtitles may provide helpful support.

I used this in distance tutoring a few students. They watched the episodes on their own time, and them filled out the worksheets as homework. I've always loved the show EXTRA but wasn't sure how to extend the use of it- I wanted to more than just watch the shows online. This year, I've put the episodes on Edpuzzle and my French 3's watch it for their homework. Then in class we use the vocabulary and questions from this packet. It's working great so far!
