This was a fun activity for students to review, but not having accents made it a bit difficult.

Students had a fun time with this - I had them do it while I was out sick one day. It was good review for them. Thank you.

This was a great activity for a Monday to review these two challenging tenses. I liked the variety of resources so that students had to read and listen. I set it as an in-class challenge juniors vs. seniors and I loved the spirit of cooperation that developed among groups!

This was my saving grace while teaching the passé composé and imparfait. I struggled to teach it, and this digital escape room was "actually fun," according to one of my students. This activity helped solidify their skills, and I will definitely use it again.

I must admit that I found this confusing since I am a bit lost when it comes to some digital activities. The content was great. My students ended up figuring it out for me and in the end, they really enjoyed it. I think it was a good review for them as well.

My students loved this activity and finished it in under an hour working in teams of 3. The link was blocked by our school firewall, so I would recommend testing it out from a student computer before class, so you have time for IT to give it permissions. We lost a bit of time waiting to get it working. Other than that it worked perfectly, except the answer key says the answer for lock 2 is 16/5 and this is not correct, should be 17/5 in the teacher copy. Thanks for an amazing resource!!

My students loved this and it served as a solid review of the passe compose. There was a problem with the map (I guess due to changes at the museum itself) and Frenchified quickly responded and edited the resource.

My students liked the experience, but it was hard as a teacher because the google forms didn't go to me. I couldn't tell who had completed the task other than them showing me the computer. Lock #3 directions are awkward because nothing is returned, rather they take their answers to use as the lock code.

For privacy reasons, I can't ask for student names on the form. Since there are no names, the data generated probably wouldn't be very useful. If you'd like, I can make a private copy of the game for you to use with a different form that asks for names and that you would be able to view the data generated - just send me an email at heather@frenchified.com and I'll get it set up.

Great resource for sub plans, testing days or days when students need something a little different. As a previous reviewer said, it forces students to slow down and pay attention to what they are typing in.

My students worked on this together in small groups in class and they really were engaged the entire time. It was fun to see them all working together and competing with the other teams in the class. However, there is an error on Task #5 that prohibits students from finding the right answer - it seems that the map that is added on the resource does not lead students to answer #917 for task number 5. I tried to figure it out for over 45 minutes and finally realized that it's a problem with the resource itself.

Thank you for letting me know about the incorrect map. It looks like the Louvre has closed certain sections due to Covid and removed the map that had that room on it (it's been replaced by a big red "closed" section). I've just updated the clue and the link to the map so that the correct answer can now be found. If you download the pdf again, you'll be able to see the new information.

My students loved the challenge of this activity! The link to the map of the Louvre for Lock #5 is no longer working.

Merci! It looks like they've updated it due to covid. I've changed the link so it should work now. (You may have to refresh to get the new link.)
