Description

This fun beginning level French reading comprehension activity is a short story about a huge problem - something is pooping in the neighborhood and leaving a mess. It's a real problem, and Monsieur Lenoir wants to get to the bottom of it.

The story is written with many possessive adjectives, so students can practice understanding the meaning of words such as mon, ton, son, notre, votre and leur. There is also a short non-fiction reading about the very real problem of dog waste in Paris and other French cities. After you finish the readings, there are comprehension questions and a story retell/rewrite activity. The readings are in printable pdf form as well as a PowerPoint version of each reading - read together as a class or assign for individual reading.
