This 6 Paris Monuments intermediate French reading comprehension bundle for Google Drive™ will teach your students about the different monuments in Paris that have made the city what it is today.
Each reading has 3 different versions of the reading - novice high, intermediate low and intermediate mid. They also have comprehension questions in English AND French as well as 9 extension activities.
Students will learn about 6 different Paris monuments:
- the Louvre
- the Eiffel Tower
- the Arc de Triomphe
- Versailles
- Pere Lachaise Cemetery
- Notre Dame.
Each reading includes a glossary of vocabulary terms students are unlikely to know. Some of the articles are easier (Louvre, Notre Dame and Eiffel Tower) while the others are more intermediate/advanced level.
These readings can be read with support at a novice-high/intermediate low level or independently by higher level students, Great for class reading and discussion, or to use as a sub plan when you are out.
Each Paris Monuments intermediate French reading includes:

For Impressionism Digital Escape Room | High School Art / French Games
September 13, 2026I have spent the afternoon trying out this escape room for myself. First I tried the French version. Without the resource telling me what they codes were, I never would have figured it out. Knowing the code, I continued to work with the resource to figure it out. But honestly, this escape room needs a lot of work to be a go in my classroom. I was very disappointed. I would suggest that each lock have a direct question that the students would be looking for. I then decided, why not try the English version and see if this might work better for my students. While it is better, the direct questions are still missing and I think I would have to give a lot of hints and directions. The worst page is the Musée D'Orsay page. I literally had to copy the picture and put it into chat gpt to figure out what this wanted. More details are necessary because students would not be prepared for this.

Sorry to hear about your difficulties. A direct question and answer would defeat the purpose of an escape room activity - the activity is supposed to be challenging and force the students to read the clues very carefully, looking for anything that might seem out of place. I have requested that TPT refund your purchase.

April 27, 2026I like the variety and real-life links in this resource. I also like the comprehensible story of Stéphane. I do not like how the dictionary is organized and I also think that some of the authentic listening (like the Peppa Pig one) could use an activity to get students listening for specific information. I was able to make a resource but it would be nice to have something already included. Also, if I assign one activity on Google classroom (the story for example), I had to cut and paste it as the resource dos is all one pdf.

This is an issue with your school district blocking the sites - were they able to reach the main game site at all? Or was it the links from the game site to the other sites that were blocked?
