This intermediate French reading comprehension activity will allow you to read a short story, entirely in French. It tells the story of two sisters who don’t always get along.
Lucie and Annie are sisters. Annie is very jealous - she will get her revenge on her popular sister in a devious plan that involves mud, bacon and blue dye. Find out what happens next in this story for French learners.
This activity packet includes a 2 page story in the present tense - appropriate for 2nd semester and later French students, with comprehension questions and other activities. There is also a version of the story in the past tense, using the imparfait and passé composé for more advanced students. Also includes an infographic about perfume and other scent. This activity could also be used as a sub activity.
