Description

Review Chapters 5–7 of Le Petit Prince with a suspenseful, editable PowerPoint comprehension game for French class. Students answer questions about the assigned chapters, then decide whether to keep their points or give them to another team—before discovering whether the hidden value is positive or negative.

HOW THE “IT’S NOT FAIR” GAME WORKS

  1. Divide the class into teams.
  2. A team selects a question from the PowerPoint game board.
  3. Students answer an English-language comprehension question about Chapters 5–7.
  4. If the answer is correct, the team must choose whether to keep the hidden points or give them to another team.
  5. Reveal the point value after the decision is final.
  6. Continue until the questions have been completed or class time ends.

Because students do not know the point value in advance, a correct answer does not always help their team—and giving points away can unexpectedly backfire.
