Description
Review chapters 1–2 with a lively Le Petit Prince French 1 comprehension game. Students choose questions about the reading, answer in teams, and then decide whether to keep or pass the points—before discovering how many points are at stake.
All questions are in English, making this an accessible comprehension check after students read chapters 1–2 of Le Petit Prince.
This resource includes:
- Instructions for the “It’s Not Fair” game
- One editable PowerPoint game board
- Comprehension questions for chapters 1–2
- Editable questions and point values
Project the board and play as a whole class, or revise the questions to match your pacing and edition. The surprise-point format adds suspense while keeping the focus on recall and understanding.
Please note: this game covers chapters 1–2 only. The novel is not included.

Teacher reviews
“I used this resource with my French 3 juniors and they love this game! I had to modify some of the questions to make them more clear which was easy to do. It was a great formative comprehension check in English after students had read and studied the chapters in French. It can easily be used for an entire 50 minute class period. Merci!”

- Nobody ever notices the French teacher to give them awards for anything! My students, my family and my mom like me - is that enough? Oh, and my beer league hockey team won the championship several years ago.
