Very appealing and engaging, but not challenging for stronger students. You can kind of place the puzzle pieces just by looking at the pictures and not at the vocabulary. But it was also a good way for them to check their own work and know immediately if they had made a mistake. Students did have fun and it is well suited for weaker students who are able to experience some success with this type of activity.

With Covid, we've had a lot of new students coming in all through the year. Recently, I've had a few students who have never studied French before newly enroll in my class. These puzzles are really wonderful for offering a differentiated activity during class for those who aren't ready to do a more advanced option using clothing vocabulary. I imagine it is likely something I did to the version I copied, but noticed that on the second image the puzzle is actually wrong no matter what I do. I keep putting the word for belt over the word for belt in French, but the pink circle background isn't in the right place to make the puzzle right. My student brought it to my attention, but the same thing happened when I did the puzzle. I'll likely download it again and make a different copy to see if that solved the problem. But, the creator might want to take a look and see to make sure it isn't an error. If it isn't an error of the creator, it is a user error and teachers should be aware that making changes like this could happen. The product is awesome and I am really grateful to have this available to students for practice and for having something more introductory to do when I have students of so many different levels in one classroom.

Thank you so much for letting me know about the error! It looks like the tile was a duplicate of one of the others instead of the correct picture. I've updated it in both the PPT and Google slides versions, so if you download it again it will be correct. I'm glad that the activity was useful for your class, I know that so many teachers are in the same boat this year with distance and in-person learning.
