Spanish Halloween Reading | Present and Past Tense Short Story Vampires
(7 ratings)$4.00
Add to cartAdd a humorous Spanish Halloween reading to your fall plans with *Frankie El Vampiro*. This two-page Spanish short story follows a vampire who is afraid of the dark and cannot figure out how to find dinner. Two differentiated versions—present tense and past tense—make the resource flexible across course levels.
Frankie is a vampire, but he isn't a very competent vampire. He is afraid of the dark! This makes it very difficult for him to do the most basic vampire things, especially finding dinner. He needs help, and he finds it from a local psychic.
This activity packet includes a 2-page story with two different versions so you can use it with different levels of Spanish classes. One is in the present tense, the other in the past tense. Also includes an authentic materials activity and an infographic so you can do some non-fiction reading about the topic.

For Claude Monet French Reading Comprehension Activities Impressionism
My students were familiar with Claude Monet's work but didn't know much about his life, so this was useful info not in our textbook. I appreciated having the differentiated versions.

Great way to use history to review reflexive verbs while not just focusing on daily routine - which let's be honest, is boring. Who talks about their daily routine on a regular basis? No one.

I left this as a packet for level 2 students in addition to other work when I was out for a few days due to surgery. I offered a few bonus points if they selected 2-3 readings to keep them busy when everything else was turned in. They loved learning about animals and many students who didn't have time while I was out chose to complete the entire packet on their own time for fun once I was back.

I use these all the time in my courses, I love them. However, for this particular set there is no link in the 3/5ths clue.
