These 50 Narrative Writing Time Filler Warm-Ups are exactly what your reluctant or struggling writers need to improve their creative writing skills. You’ll get access to both a PowerPoint presentation and a Google Slideshow with 10 weeks of no-prep digital bell-ringers that focus on idea generation and elaboration. Each of the 5 weekly prompts or tasks uses both images and music to get kids engaged and excited about narrative writing. It’s like a workout for the imagination!

Ideal for grades 3-6, ELD students, SPED teachers, and substitute teachers or sub plans. These activities can either be fast-paced bell-work activities or can be stretched and combined to take up the entire class period.
