Sentence Combining Scoot Game Task Cards for Grammar & Writing Revision Practice
(1 rating)$5.00
Add to cartTackle revision and grammar at the same time with these 20 Sentence Combining Scoot Game or Write the Room Task Cards for students in grades 5-8. As students or travel from task card to task card, they try to combine the sentences in at least 2 different ways, allowing them to flex their critical thinking and creativity muscles at the same time. Best of all? There's no right or wrong answer because every writer will put their own spin on the sentence, resulting in voice. At the end, teachers can lead a discussion on the use of punctuation, sentence structures, and writer choices what led to great (and sometimes not so great) sentences.
