✏️Use the cultural guide, symbols guide, vocabulary definitions, and discussion questions to teach about the history of buffalo hide art and how it was used in Native American tribes.
✏️Students can choose from 25 symbols, called pictographs, to create their personalized buffalo hide art project.
✏️Students can use the symbols to tell stories (real or fictional), create scenes, or simply choose ones that represent their qualities or the traits of family members.
✏️Crafts are differentiated! Students can color, draw, or decorate their craft, choose from a variety of writing prompts, and writing sheet options (dotted vs. single lines etc.)
✏️Use the arts and craft writing projects to meaningfully decorate your bulletin board, classroom, or hallway, while displaying your students' creativity!
