For Indigenous Animal Crafts & Writing Activities | Native American Art Projects
July 26, 2026I absolutely loved this resource! I was looking for a meaningful way to celebrate Indigenous Peoples' Day that went beyond the typical worksheets, and this was exactly what I needed. The background information was easy to understand, and I appreciated that it encouraged respectful conversations while introducing students to the significance of different animals in Indigenous cultures. My students loved choosing an animal that represented them, and the finished projects turned out beautiful. I also appreciated all of the differentiation options for both the craft and writing components because it made it easy to meet the needs of all of my learners. This was low prep, highly engaging, and created a gorgeous bulletin board. I will definitely be using this again!
