Description
My students are loving subtraction practice with these fun subtraction with regrouping worksheets! Students solve a 3-digit subtraction with regrouping problem and then use a maze to travel to the next problem. My intervention students even asked to do more of these! When students who struggle in math ask for more math it makes my heart smile. :)
These are perfect for you if you need an enticing way to get students motivated to work on skills they struggle with. Pair them with base-10 blocks for a great hands on activity!
After I presented students with the first one, they were hooked! They were excited to complete one problem and then work through a maze. Finally, a practice page that isn’t just problem after problem! The brain break they get with each maze is just what students need before starting in on a new problem.

My students had a great time using this resource in small group setting with me and the stronger students used it individually during stations but found it to be fun and engaging!

This resource was a fun way for students to practice their regrouping skills. It was engaging and they loved the mazes after each question. I like how it prompted students to check their work as well as that is a skill we have been working on, but the prompts to add did take up a lot of space and they could've used more room to work. Overall, very engaging resource!
