Missing Angles - Finding Unknown Additive Angles - 4.MD.C.7, TEKS 4.7E
(55 ratings)$3.00
Add to cartThese bright and fun task cards will help students find unknown angles when given two non-overlapping angles that create a larger angle. Students will get much needed practice finding missing angles. These task cards are aligned to the TEKS: 4.7E, and CCSS: 4.MD.C.7.
I have also included a card explaining how to use this set of task cards to play a simple no-prep game called "Capture the Triangles" that adds a fun layer of competition!!!
I included a
What's Included?
Standards Alignment:
TEKS: 4.7E - determine the measure of an unknown angle formed by two non‐overlapping adjacent angles given one or both angle measures
CCSS: 4.MD.C.7 - Recognize angle measure as additive. When an angle is decomposed into non-overlapping parts, the angle measure of the whole is the sum of the angle measures of the parts. Solve addition and subtraction problems to find unknown angles on a diagram in real world and mathematical problems, e.g., by using an equation with a symbol for the unknown angle measure.

I love that this resource gives the angle measures on some of them and it also makes the students think about the angle measures (such as angle ABC is a straight angle).

These cards were great for centers as they meet my state standards perfectly (TEKS). Easy to read, nothing too fancy or frilly so that my students with various learning challenges are still engaged and challenged.
