My students are loving Subtracting Across Zeros practice with these fun printables. Students solve a subtraction with regrouping problem, Check Using Addition and then use a maze to travel to the next problem. My intervention students have been asking to do more of these to practice subtracting across zeros! When students who struggle in math ask for more math it makes my heart smile. :)
These are perfect for you if you need an enticing way to get students motivated to work on skills they struggle with. Pair them with base-10 blocks for a great hands on activity!
After I presented students with the first one, they were hooked! They were excited to complete one problem and then work through a maze. Finally, a practice page that isn’t just problem after problem! The brain break they get with each maze is just what students need before starting in on a new problem.

I could not share this with my students because I could only distribute it to students if I made copies or students have a printer at home. It said it was powerpoint slides but it downloads as a pdf so I could not convert it to use for my google classroom. I will try and use this next year.

Tina, I’m sad you are disappointed. The title and cover of this product both say “Printable.” I read through the product description again and am unclear about how this resource promises to be a PowerPoint resource. Many parents and teachers are using this resource as a printable now, and I hope that you and your students enjoy using it next year. Feel free to contact me with any further questions.
