Holes Vocabulary Boom™ Cards Set #1 (Chapters 1-5) 42 Cards.

Authored by Louis Sachar, Holes tells of the struggle of young Stanley Yelnats. Stanley believes that he is cursed because of the actions of one of his ancestors. He has found himself living in a miserable camp for wayward kids where he is required to dig holes every day.

This set contains 20 rich vocabulary words from Chapters 1 - 4. In all, there are 42 cards (1 - Cover, 1 - Example Question, 20 - Words & Definitions, 20 - Multiple Choice Questions). Definition cards have the vocabulary word at the top and the definition on the bottom. The Multiple Choice Question cards have a question with a definition on the top, and below, is a choice of six vocabulary words. The students will click and drag words to the top of the stack of books. If the word choice is correct, the card will flip to the next card. If the word choice is incorrect, it will not be accepted on the top of the book stack. They can continue till the correct word is chosen. All of the definition cards will show before the question cards. Answers are found on the definition cards, and the BOOM Card app scores student responses.
